A graduate of Wilberforce University (BS) and the University of Kentucky (MS), Emily has long had an interest in sports and sports administration. As a member of the Wilberforce Men's Basketball team, and later as an intern for the Greater Louisville Sports Commission, Emily continues her passion for sports as the Director of the First Baptist Church of Jeffersontown Family Life Center where she oversees all sports and recreational activities of the center.

Cedric is a graduate of Sullivan College (AS/BS) and a member of their 1980 National Basketball Championship team. Currently Cedric is a member of the KBOA (Kentucky Basketball Officials Association) and a high school referee. As the Assistant Director, Cedric assists in all functions of operations of the Family Life Center and reports to the Family Life Center Director.
